Erinmore Flake drying on deck. This stuff has a real black liquorice note out of the tin. Maybe some orange blossom.   Much more aromatic than I had expected.

I quite enjoy Erinmore Flake. Might be an acquired taste, but I like it.

I enjoyed it as well.  Quite a lot.

The Connoisseur’s Choice, not so much.  Smells terrific, but it bites me too easily.  Maybe my last foray into the world of Peterson aromatics.  Wonder if I can press it and burn it like incense? haha

Back home from the Spider-Man movie. It was better than the first one, which was lousy, but it's not the Spider-Man I knew from my collecting days or the days I was a Spider-Man artist. Half way through this bowl of Wilke #515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.

Yeah, Spiderman: Homecoming was pretty disappointing and I probably won't go to see this new one in the theater. The Spiderman TV series that ran from 1994 to 1998 best captures the Spiderman that I grew up with in the '70s.

That smoke is too spicy new, as is 3Kings. Both age very nicely, though. Hope the 2018 one does. Sort of afraid to try it fresh
