It's a pretty simple, solid, well rounded smoke. Not real complex, but leaning towards the bolder side of things. Good VA base, Perique doesn't hit you in the face, and the Kentucky gives it some depth. My palate isn't like yours, but I'd say it tastes a bit more savory than other VaPer blends. That's probably the Kentucky rearing its head. Some raisin/prune thrown in there, but a lot more hay and a little tang. No real smokiness to speak of. I really like the shag cut. I've pressed it pretty good, and it didn't bite. Like most things VaPer, it'll probably age well. It's probably my sixth bowl so far.
