Just OK? Thats sad because it sounds great.

I've been TRYING to keep carbs low. So its been a lot of grilling and smoking with sides of either asparagus or broccoli.

Edit: I see I used two images twice. Oh well.

Thank you! If I gotta cut down/out carbs then it better be good stuff. I love carbs so much. So very, very much.

I do love carbs and it was so hard to not go to town on my first honey wheat loaf.

Using a mix of Louisiana crawfish boil seasoning with BBQ seasoning, I rubbed down a pork butt and let it sit in hickory smoke for hours. Then I pulled it and chopped it.

Today I'm gonna make a batch of oatmeal cookies. Over the years I've been tinkering with making a sort of copy of the Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pie but just the cookie part and a little more robust or just thicker. I feel I'm close to something I'm happy with but my weight cannot handle me making batch after batch getting it right so its been a while between each test. lol

Now you've got me wanting to make up my version of an AnZaC biscuit.

You should do it. Making things at home can be rewarding and even more healthy. Like my own BBQ sauce has half the sugar store stuff has and just pure ingredients. No corn syrup and stuff.

The cookies were a success and pretty close to Little Debbie and are more thick and hearty.

Dinner was just a baked potato with little salt, msg and butter but a healthy portion of black pepper. My wife and I picked up a 50lb box of them for $5 today. Most I'm dehydrating as shreds and slices.

...we've been having "Freshly" meals delivered since early this year... high-quality, reasonable price and easy to prepare...

Just ate a turkey sandwich and having a cold beer with it. Not sure what’s on the menu tonight but I’ve been craving fresh veggies and I grabbed a whole bunch from the market earlier

Same here with my wife and I. Had grilled chicken for dinner with asparagus last night and we were wanting a salad to go with it. So we made a small salad and decided that tonights dinner is just gonna be a large salad.

For lunch though we just ate chili I made from leftover chuck roast that I smoked a few days ago.

Burgers for dinner, with tomato/cucumber/onion salad.

Pork butt just before wrapping it up for the final few hours.

An experiment for last night's dinner. Chicken tenderloins dry rubbed with salt, sugar and curry powder for thirty minutes. Washed off and grilled, they were quite nice. Now to think of a sauce to drizzle over them next time for a little extra bang.
