Just finished smoking year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem.

Part way through this bowl of late 1960s Sir Walter Raleigh in a smooth three quarter bend 1979 made in Israel billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. This smoke will get interrupted by lunch at some point. A bottle of Sierra Mist is my drink.

Is aged SWR any better than new? Seems to me to be a blend hard to improve on

That's why the blends of yore are so cool. They are already there, waiting, full of their flavor... and it doesn't get much better.

Continuing my smoking day with a bowl of St. Bruno Flake in a MM Ozark Mountain Hardwood. These are reliable, inexpensive pipes. Good for the outdoors.

Only difference I notice is that the older version is a touch more savory, due to age.

Now smoking Stokkebye Natural Dutch Cavendish in a 1970s medium bend smooth Ben Wade Golden Walnut freehand with a black vulcanite stem.

Solani Aged Burley Flake spiked with a dash of McClelland mixing Cavendish in an MM Country Gent, drinking ice tea with lemon.

Now smoking D&R Raccoon’s Accent in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Ice tea and bergs is my drink.

Great Outdoors in the JB (Cramptholomew) Cutty/Devil Anse/Stack smooth.

Half way through this bowl of C&D Stovepipe in a 1979 no name French briar smooth full bend egg with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.

Molto Dolce in the nearly 50-year-old Falcon w/rusticated apple bowl. Cool water. Vodka shot on the horizon.

Last bowl of the day... Warrior Plug

...Escudo, in a small German clay pipe. Short smoke. Fresh Peet's espresso...

Just finished smoking C&D Bluegrass in a medium bend raw sienna toned early Radice sandblast egg with bamboo carving on the shank and a black acrylic stem.

Posting a bit early, as I expect to get some work done... Jack Knife Plug, loaded up in the Charatan's Make Freehand Relief. The usual libations.

I have a tin that won't get opened for a couple years, due to amount on hand. I'll make sure I keep it shut now.
