After monking out to some Dick Dale (no Gremmies or Hodads allowed) I am watching what real Science Fiction/Fact should look like. Men into Space still gets most of the facts right, ten years before we landed on the moon. William Lundigan stars in this series, one of my fave actors. Besides this, he starred in some cult classics and a mid Sixties flick, The Underwater City, a story about underwater colonization.
Another unknown, that Criterion put out on disc (but is not on its channel) is Robinson Crusoe on Mars. This hit about every tech note right, save some things unknown back then or were added for cheesy effect. A movie about figuring out how to breathe on Mars. How novel! What? No Star Wars bar scene?
