Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation: Small Batch Aged Virginia

Its here and as expected, priced high. I understand that it's got ten years of age on it but is the box really necessary? It just raises the price for a tobacco I'd be storing away in a mason jar.

Samuel Gawith 2015 Limited Edition is packaged in a similar fashion at a similar price, but I like the tin, so...

Had my first bowl a week ago and have had a few more during the week. To me its a grass, citrus, fruit mix that is sweet and smooth. Quite a nice blend and is just a good Virginia to load into a pipe. I grabbed two boxes and glad I did. Its nothing that blows me away but is quite nice to smoke. I still feel the price could have been lowered if put in a tin rather than a mini humidor. The blend was a bit moist so drying is needed. Over all its good but I guess packed like it was, I set my expectations too high.

The box is pretty nice. Not sure what to do with it though. A display piece?

I was sent a sample of this one but have been waiting to try it until I know my senses are back 100%. I feel around 80% right now.

All I can say about it right now is it looks nice.
