No pipe today, but I did have a Tatiana Groovy Blue cigar while I was 4 wheeling.

Kohlhase & Kopp Circus with lightly sweetened iced tea.

The tin note to me is of caramel, buttered popcorn and a hint of vanilla with a fruity candy note too. Moist but not overly and after two hours of sitting out, it was ready to smoke. It tasted much like it smelled with nothing really there of tobacco. The primary flavor I get is buttered popcorn but the other tin notes are there too, just more in the background. The bowl remained the same from start to finish with more of the caramel notes making their way forward. No need to slowly sip this blend but too fast in one's smoking I’m sure would diminish the flavors. I never had to relight but a buildup of ash can also diminish the flavors. Its truly an aromatic as I said, no tobacco flavor to be found but its not goopy and left no mess.

Some other personal thoughts, probably best with a light drink. I went with a lightly sweetened iced tea. Tossing in another more strait tobacco might be nice if wanting to enjoy the sweet flavors but not looking to have such a sweet smoke. I'm sure in briar there would be ghosting but I wonder if that ghosting would be enjoyable with a good nutty burly blend loaded in the pipe later on.
